The Bluestack Foundation was established to provide direct supports to people themselves and direct supports to their families and carers. We raise most of our funds through the local community and a range of fundraising activities. We are heavily reliant on the generous donations of the local community and indeed the public who kindly take it upon themselves to fundraise on our behalf.
The Foundation building located in The Glebe, Donegal Town, (opposite the Abbey Vocational School) is a community facility and has an established open-door policy.
We openly welcome anyone who would like to call in for a chat, find out what goes on in here or just sit and have a cup of coffee while looking out at the beautiful Donegal Bay.
If you have a little time to spare, we are always looking for volunteers for our various programmes, and your presence would be very warmly welcomed.
Our aim is to act as an initial point of support and information, to assist people with disabilities in reaching their full potential, support families caring for dependents with disabilities, and also raise awareness and promote advocacy.

Over 50 Volunteers
From humble beginnings in 2006 where only two full time staff were employed, In 2026 the Foundation now pays 60 full and part time staff along with our strong team of volunteers.
