How can businesses support the Foundation?
Supporting the Foundation makes good business sense as it demonstrates a real commitment to the local community, results in positive publicity and produces additional marketing opportunities.
There are a number of ways in which businesses, large and small, can support the Bluestack Foundation and we're always grateful to receive any help offered. Here are just a few ideas - if any of them appeal to your business, or if you have other thoughts, please contact us and we'll be happy to meet with you to discuss.
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you think that your business can support the work of the Foundation in any way possible.

- Sponsorship - businesses can sponsor events or activities. Sometimes this might take the form of cash or might be in-kind, for example free room hire for an event or some free publicity in company leaflets. Sponsorship also doesn't necessarily mean large sums of money. A couple of hundred euros will go a long way towards covering the cost of a day out for children with special needs or a series of meetings for carers.
- Adoption - businesses could 'adopt' the Bluestack Foundation as their chosen charity and encourage employees to volunteer and/or give a regular amount each month through the payroll.
- Fundraising events - many businesses nowadays will have an annual fundraising day or occasional fundraising events where a local charity is identified to receive the funds raised. The events don't need to be large - a raffle, a quiz or a table collection at an annual dinner are all easy examples, there are dozens more that would suit any size of business.
- Surplus equipment and materials - all businesses know the cost of equipping and running a service, especially where premises are involved. Inevitably surpluses arise from time to time through overstocking, changing headed paper, changing older or outdated equipment, etc, and we'd be happy to talk to you about how the Foundation might be able to make use of these. It may seem an obvious example but even something as simple as surplus paper can be put to good use in an art therapy session.
- Meeting/activity space - although the Foundation has an office base and activity space in Donegal Town, we aim to provide services across the whole County. If you have spare office space or larger rooms that might be used for activities or occasional meetings these might be put to good use to benefit the community.
